神奈川県内の工場に約20人のタイ人従業員が働きに来ているんだが、なぜ、わざわざ、彼らがやってきたのか。

答え。日本人従業員に、仕事を教えるため。

彼らは、10年以上同じラインで働いているベテランぞろいで、タイの工場ではリーダーとして、仕事を教えているんだそうだ。今回、タイの工場が水に浸かって、生産がストップしたため、日本で補うための生産を行うことになったんだが、その生産に携われる人材が、日本にはいないんだと。で、急遽、タイ人の従業員に教育を行ってもらうことにしたんだが。

映っている画像を見た限りだが、実際作業を行っているのは、慣れない手付きの20代の日本人。そばで教えているのは、タイ人。で、通訳なのかどうか、わからんが、うろうろしている、40代以上の日本人のオジサン。

「日本の従業員は派遣なので、仕事を長くやっている人が少ないんです。タイの方々はベテランぞろいですから。コツをよく知っていて、助かります」

とニコニコしながら、オジサンが語っていた。屈託なくね。彼は正社員なんだろうなぁ。

衝撃的でもなんでもないかもしれないが、ズシンと来るもんがあったなぁ。

労働条件が悪そうな、タイの国で働く人たちは、ベテランぞろい。

労働条件が悪くない、日本の国で働く人たちは、非正規労働者で、長くは働けない。

うえぇえと思ったのは、タイ人従業員とオジサンのかぶっているキャップには、彼らの名前が書いてあったんだが、教えられている日本人の派遣社員のかぶっているキャップには、製造ラインの場所と数字しか書いてなかったことだ。

派遣は派遣。身分を越えることはなりませぬかｗ
